Long story short, my current desk is showing its age and I think it needs replaced. Luckily my father has an almost brand new desk that he currently has in storage since he has no room for it any more. If memory serves me correctly it looks like this one. That may not be the exact desk, but it is at least very very close. Anyways I am just trying to get some info on this desk to see if it will fit my needs or in this case my stuff. I have not seen the desk in several years, so it is far from fresh in my memory which is why I need your help. I am hoping some people out there have this desk. I guess the main question I have is, that site says it holds most 15" monitors, I don't exactly remember the dimensions of a 15" monitor, but would I be insane to think a Dell 1800FP would fit in the monitor space? For those that don't know the 1800FP is an 18.1" flat panel display. It measures about 16"x13.5"(WxL).
Also one other thing I was wondering was how deep are the very top shelves on the left and right side of the desk? I ask because I am currently using a decent sized stereo for my audio out and the speakers are probablly 8-10" deep. I just want to make sure they will sit up there without falling off.
