OK this is for my mom's computer, which is an emachine. Device manager says it is a RAGE PRO TURBO AGP 2X (english)

I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find a WORKING link to download some upated drivers for this! Main reason for doing so is that the current drivers (and maybe the hardware itself) do not support dx8

I'm hoping new drivers may remedy that situation, and if not, oh well. But it's difficult to try out a theory like this when I can't find the damn drivers. The current drivers are dated 8-23-1998, and from some links i've found there is a 1999 version somewhere... anyone who can find the "where" part gets...... um.... a big thanks from me i guess...

This just MIGHT be the ATI RAGE LT PRO...

just go to ati.com and to the find a driver area
select the RAGE LT PRO
and your OS then get those
drivers... think they might work for you ;)

if your OS is Win95/98/ME
there are some 1999 drivers on there.

Recommended Driver - 4.11.2560
Posted May 28, 1999
This is a fully released and supported display driver, which supports Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows 95b (OSR2). DirectX 6 and OpenGL support are included.

Alternate Driver - 4.12.2632

This display driver is NOT recommended if you wish to use the ATI DVD Player or capture video using the ATI Video Player (TV Tuner/Capture) software.

Rage Pro Turbo is a newer version of Rage Pro chipset, which they have the same specification and same chip structure.

RagePro is known to be used in ATI Xpert98 and ATI All in Wonder Pro video card.

ATI Rage Pro Driver Page (they have drivers for win95, win98, winme, nt4, win2k and winxp.)
