I spent the entire weekend on a pennsylvania mountain this weekend and it is cold.
a few of my fellow marines got sick and some got their hands and face swollen.
the the next few month, we're goin back there again to do more training and i'm expecting it would be even colder than now.
i'm just wondering where can you get some effective cold weather gear? because the issued gear the government gave us is pathetic.
i need something like...sock that act as a heater (battery operated perhaps?)
warm gloves and something to help the face from getting frozen.
- battery operated socks that keep your feet warm
- same thing with gloves?
