Need help finding an odd part for a custom build

I'm not even sure if this exists or not, but I want to find an adaptor, sort of, that will give me two 12V lines from my PSU out through a PCI slot in the back of the PC(obviously not an actual PCI board).

I have no idea if they even make such a thing or if I'll have to fabricate it(I'd rather not), also need another PCI type slot cover that is made of a substance that I can cut a decent sized opening in that won't become too brittle.

If I have to I'll mod the case to do what I want to do, but I'd rather not cut up my XaserIII if I can avoid it. Any help/suggestions anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.

I don't think anyone makes anything like that so you'll probably have to get a slot cover and cut it yourself. Careful putting 12V lines as connectors on the outside of the case. Either put covers on them or keep a blank plug in them if they are not in use. You don't want any metal bridging the connectors by accident and causing a short.

make one yourself, or buy an antec powersupply that has this already.

buy an extension cable from some site, and 2 plug\sockets for DC power from radioshack, do some splicing and mounting, poof. um, and get some fuses.

Absolutely. The external wires will be shielded(always) and capped when not in use(which will only be for transportation).

Antec PS that includes what I'm looking for? That would be perfect, I need to have these lines tied in to the power switch on my PC.

Just looked it up on NewEGG, the TrueControl 550 has it that I'm going to be purchasing anyway, thanks much for pointing that out before I went through all the trouble of building one only to kick my own @ss when the new PSU got here 😛 😉

That's one down and easily(much appreciated Mday 😀 ) , does anyone know where they sell simple PCI slot covers that screw in to place that are made of a fairly sturdy material? I get that down and I'm all set 🙂
