I believe its 3.5" diameter. I've cleaned it several times now over the course of 7-8yrs, but now I really want to get it replaced. I am in Canada and am looking for a site that would carry just the filter and not the entire V2 assembly.

Please send me to the right direction. Much thanks!

K&N's site lets you search by dimensions.

Once you find the right K&N in your size, they've got a link on each filters page with a cross reference to other manufacturers. I don't think they usually cross reference AEM. Normally it's the big brands like Wix, Fram, Motorcraft, etc.

Or if you want to replace it with an AEM, go look at the filter. It should have the model number stamped on it some where. Take that and then look here. I'm guessing it's a cone since you said diameter.

Now seriously, that took me all of 5 minutes to find while I was on the shitter. You couldn't do that? Lazy bum!

Preludes are a friggin boat, it doesn't look like one but it is. I've been to that site linked above but I didn't even know where to start in finding out the various variables defining my filter type.

Pull the filter from your intake and look for a part number which should be printed on it. Match that part number with the first column on the linked AEM webpage above and order that filter. Alternatively, find out what intake AEM makes for your car and see if they list the filter part number somewhere on that webpage.

You also can call them up and they should be able to help you get the filter itself. Just say you have a rip in the filter or something, it's amazing what manufacturers will do to ensure they have happy customers.

(Note: I am not implying you try to rip off AEM, rather I am suggesting that you give them a solid reason for purchasing another air filter to cut through any hurdles about just wanting to replace an old air filter)
