Need help finding a value 4.1/5.1 system

I've been looking online for reviews and they really haven't been much help. I can't seem to find a site that has all of these units reviewed, so there doesn't seem to be that level of consistency I would like.

The 4.1/5.1 units I'm looking at are $100/150-ish Canadian, but I'd like to make the most of what I've got. I'll be running this on an onboard sound card with 5.1 capability, but am planning to get an Audigy 2 when I get my tax return.

I do a fair bit of PC gaming, so I do prefer getting a 4 or 5.1 to a 2.1. I watch a fair number of DVD movies and anime on my PC and I also listen to a lot of music (classical, pop, hip hop, rock) so I don't necessarily want to sacrifice any of that performance for gaming.

I would also prefer a remote, and I understand by saying that, I've ruled out a good number of the speakers below, but it's just a preference. As long as I can have easy access to the headphone jack, volume and bass controls, I would prefer a superior system without a remote to an inferior system with one. (Yeah, I know I'm probably asking for TOO much at this price range)

The units I'm looking at are:
Altec Lansing VS3151
Creative Inspire P5800
Cambridge/Creative Soundworks FPS1800
Cambridge/Creative DeskTop Theater 5.1 DTT2200
Logitech X-530
Altec Lansing ACS56 PowerPlay? Plus

Failing that, anything available at http://www.canadacomputers.com/speakers.html and fitting the budget would be great.

Thanks in advance for your help!
