Need help finding a song (circus theme?)

anyways..um..I am looking for this particular song. You all know it, you've all heard it. Its the song they play at the circus when acrobats are flying around doing their thing. They have played this song on the simpsons several times. I'm sure it has been on more then several commercials as well. It is a very..exciting, upbeat (?) tune. lots of horns?

anyways, I'm sorry if my description is not good enough, but if someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Ive tried searching for "circus", "circus theme" etc etc but no luck so far.

Maybe some words, or if you have the tune, record it and upload it somewhere. A crappy wav from a crappy mic helps a lot! 🙂

Karn Evil 9 1st Impression (part 2, but part 1 is better) comes to mind, but I have a feeling that ain't it.

its a very fast tempo song, meant to build up excitement.. There are trumpets in it Think of the song they play when acrobats are flying around on the trapeeze

anyone else want to take a shot?
 
The only one I remember from the circus is "Daring young man on the flying trapeze".

Go here, scroll down to patriotic/marches/etc and you'll find a basic copy of it to listen to.

We have the song at work and we play it the dining room at night when the counter staff it cleaning up. We put that one section on repeat and turn the volume all the way up. Almost had one of the staff have a complete breakdown (we're meanies!!)
 
Damn, I have been searching all over and I listened to the sound clips that you guys have so graciously linked me to. Unfortunatley none of them are the one I am looking for.

The song I am thinking of is VERY fast paced compared to all those other songs, I believe its violins, with a trombone or trumpet towards the end of the melody. Damn, this is really starting to rack my brain..

I guess the best hint I can give is that they have played this song on the simpsons before, (although they have probably played 100 circus songs on the simpsons, heh). I wish i had a microphone, I would stoop to embarassment if i could just get this tune.

so, anyways, it is very fast tempo, it builds excitement and tension like no other circus song i have ever heard before, although it is very famous.

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, you guys have been great so far! 🙂

I'm almost positive. Let me go look it up.
