Need help finding a quote

I'm looking for a quote i read somewhere a long time ago but can't quite find it.

A question was asked to a sculptor about how he thought of such a perfect statue.

His reply was the quote i am looking for and is something along the lines of, "The scupture was already perfect from the start, i merely brushed away the dust in stone covering it"

Anyone know what i am talking about? I am thinking along the lines of Michaelangelo.

Are you talking about Michelangelo's quote?

?The best artist has that thought alone Which is contained within the marble shell; The sculptor's hand can only break the spell To free the figures slumbering in the stone?

Is this it?

?In every block of marble I see a statue as plain as though it stood before me, shaped and perfect in attitude and action. I have only to hew away the rough walls that imprison the lovely apparition to reveal it to the other eyes as mine see it.? Michelangelo
