need help finding a processor

is there any where that i can still buy a athlon 64 x2 processor for socket 939, right now it is hard to find, do you guys know of any place besides ebay

There's a few still listed in pricewatch. Your best option is opteron dual cores. Newegg and mwave still have some for less then $200. Be sure your motherboard supports opteron before ordering.

ya i saw the opterons too, and i have always thought that they were server processors, are they not?

Opteron 165 is your best bet...only AMD processor worth buying IMO (for a final CPU upgrade for S939....the AM2 Platform is really only a budget option IMO until we see native quad core from AMD-hopefully at cheap prices!).
