Hi guys,

System specs: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7400 2.80GHz
8.00GB ram, 64 bit, Windows 7 Professional
Current video card: AMD Radeon HD 6450
Dual monitors

Right now if I am watching youtube videos and playing Old School Runescape (a game that is NOT demanding at all on the PC, a retro 2007 game), very often I will have a black screen, speakers buzz, and I have to manually reboot the PC.
I have tried overclocking my video card to 625 MHz GPU and 720 MHz Memory, but that has not helped. Basically this video card is a piece of crap...

I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY HD PC GAMES, I only want to multitask. I want to have maybe a couple of videos going and my retro 2007 game, that any phone can run...

Can you please give me some suggestions for a video card under $150 that would help solve my problem?

Thank you guys for your expertise

Running a game and a browser at the same time can cause a conflict of powerstates leading to a crash. Games run at full speed, browsers/flash runs at a different speed. Disabling flash and/or hw acceleration will help prevent conflicting powerstates.

YOur system is out dated. You can buy a 980 ti but it will play like a 450 or 460 GTX.

For your CPU being a huge bottleneck anything above 460 is pointless. Its still pointless you got a crummy rig sorry to say, If you had a i7 then we could get a 780 GTX

Can't disable hardware acceleration. We don't live in 2005 anymore.
Can't turn off flash... can't see the videos... lol

Any video card advice?
