when trying to play BF2, i cannot chose "hardware mixing" because it produces stuttering in the VoiceOvers. Mostly all the other sound effects are great, and they sound WAY more crisp than the "softwar mixing" mode. ive read forums saying that it is possible to crack the audigy drivers and manually install them on your Live! and change it into an audigy. You can simply just get them off the creative site and install them because when you run the .EXE, it says "failure to recognize....." so if i can maybe have someone with an audigy card to send me the individual driver files, that might work.
PLEASE, IF ANYONE HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS (or feels inclined to do some research) YOU WILL BE DOING A BIG FAVOR TO ALL Live! OWNERS!
BF2 uses OpenAL and i really dont know much about that, i just wish i could get this thing to work!
