I hope someone here can help point me in the right direction.

I have a undergraduate degree in business management. As part of that, I took basic accounting classes. I can get myself around balance sheets and what not just fine.

What I need, though, is too learn in detail cost accounting methodology, and use it to apply a burden to labor and materials to calculate product cost taking into account overhead.

Can anyone here recommend a good book/text or site to learn about this?

Thank you!

Google "Managerial Accounting" and "Cost Accounting."

What you seek will be in those categories.

edit.
We use THIS textbook in my managerial accounting class.

If you were local to me, I also have a version that's a couple of years out of date. Same basic information.
