Need help finalizng mobile 2500+ upgrade

My current setup:

Athlon XP 1800+
Soyo K7V Dragon+
GF3 Ti500
512 MB PC2100 RAM

I plan on upgrading my CPU/Mobo/RAM

I definitely want to go the mobile AMD route, so I think I will get the mobile 2500+ Barton. My questions are:

1. What would be a good overclocking mobo that would be completely stable for me, would the Soltek 75FRN2-L NFORCE2 be good enough? I can get it for a good price.

2. As for RAM, is Samsung PC3200 good enough or should I purchase more expensive RAM and if so what is a good value?

3. Is the Thermaltake A1889 Silent Boost acceptable for getting a good overclock out of the Mobile 2500+?

Thanks for the help you can offer, you guys are always great!

If it were my system, this is what I would buy:

-mobile athlon 2500+
-abit nf7-s (cheap, awesome performance/overclocking, and full of features)
-ocz cas2 pc3200 512mb, and another stick to match once ram prices settle down
-thermalright slk-800/900/947 with a good 92mm fan

the thermaltake silent boost is GARBAGE don't buy it!!! a friend of mine just got one with his mobile 2600+ and he can barely run at 2400mhz, where as my much older mobile 2500+ chip does 2500mhz without even breaking a sweat on my slk-800.

samsung ram is apparently great, but i would spend the extra $30 or so and get some low latency ocz stuff.

Okay thanks for the advice! I will heed your advice and stay wide clear of the Silent Boost, glad I avoided that apparent POS. As for the mobo, what makes the nf7-S superior to the regular nf7. Is it going to be worth ~$20-30 extra? If sound is the only difference I have Creative Inspire analog 5.1 speakers. Yeah I guess I should get the valuable RAM. Anyone else have any ideas?

I would get the NF7-S too. I am hoping to do a similar upgrade and I was gonna get about the same as a lot of you guys:

NF7-S (I wasn't completley decided on it, because there are a lot of great nforce 2 mobos, just pick one that gets good words and has right features for price)
Mobile Barton ~2500
512mb PC3200 (was going to choose Buffalo)

I was just gonna get the retail hsf. I'm not a big geek anymore. 😛 And I was gonna need a new case and a Radeon 9600 Pro. It would be a killer system for around $500... just I need to come up with that $500 now!

edit: If I was going cheaper on the mobo I think I'd get the Soltek NV400-L64. I thought it was a great performing board... the fact that it wasnt dual channel didn't matter much in the majority of apps most users run from what I seen. However I dont see much mention of it these days...

I am thinking about the DFI Infinity Ultra400 mobo, it is getting a lot of good reviews and has a good price. Also I am somewhat confused because the Silent Boost has also recieved a lot of good reviews. The mobo is always the toughest choice for me. Does anyone recommend against the DFI board?
