So I need to get rid of my gf's photography stuff. Ideally she would like to sell it as one sale, but that might not be extremely easy to do as it is a lot of stuff. As I am not up to date on asking price for this stuff currently, I'm looking for some help in pricing everything (either individual parts or as a kit). I'm thinking she is hoping to get between $1500-$1750 out of it at minimum, which I think might be a bit high. I'm thinking the body *might* get $750, lenses another $400, flashes+lighting gear $300, and bags $150 which would be $1600 total. I'm not sure if that's low, high, or about right for them though. Any help would be appreciated. Her gear is as follows:

Canon 5D ~3 years old with 2 batteries (unknown # of shutter clicks, I'm guessing from what I can recall around 10k but that's a wild guess)
Grip (holds 2 batteries and adds second trigger button 90 degrees from primary one on the body)
Remote trigger
tripod

Canon Eos Elan IIe
Minolta Q2 si

Canon 50 mm f1.8 II
Canon 28-90mm f4-5.6 III
Quantaray 28-90mm f3.5-5.6
Canon 75-300 mm f4-5.6 III <-- lens has spots on the front lens
Canon 75-300 mm f4-5.6 II
Kalimar filters 58mm (2 uv, fld, pl)

Canon 430EXII w/case
Digital Photography 528AF/CAN speedlite
LumoPro light stand, umbrella, reflectosol (silver, opaque white, solid white, and gold) w/storage bag

Lowepro Slingshot 200 case
Quantaray SLR bag
Hard case with slot torn out for SLR body+lens (unk manufacturer)

No price check threads. Check google, ebay, etc.

i thought there were no price checks... but the 430EXII second hand goes for about 200 or so. The 50 f1.8 retails for around 110, goes for 65-80 on CL
The 5D body will go for 750-1000. You can use eosinfo to find out how many shutter clicks its got.

i think eosinfo does not work on 5D

depending on price, i might be interested in your lightstand and umbrella (what size?) if you're looking to sell

5D - $750-$1000
5D grip (assuming it's Canon, not knockoff) $100-$150
430EXII - $200
50mm f/1.8 - $80
Remote trigger - actual Canon? Could be $35-$40
Film bodies: Maybe $30 each
Lenses: maybe $30 for the 28-90's (nobody will want them, probably best to sell with film bodies for $50 for a body+lens package), and $80 for the 75-300's
Looks like you have a flash bracket in there. Could be pricy, depending on brand - say $40, but maybe $100+
Bags/lightstand/tripod/crap flash/etc.: maybe $200 total. Hard to get much value out of those though. Lightstands/umbrellas/reflectors are always in demand, but they are bulky and kind of expensive to ship.

FWIW, Adorama will pay you 70% of what they will ask for these items, used. If you call them they will give you a quote. They pay shipping for the items to be sent in to them. At the very least, this will give you a good idea of the value.

If you want store credit instead of cash, they will credit you 80%.

Canon 5D ~3 years old with 2 batteries (unknown # of shutter clicks, I'm guessing from what I can recall around 10k but that's a wild guess) ~$975
Grip (holds 2 batteries and adds second trigger button 90 degrees from primary one on the body) Non-Canon $50???
Remote trigger Canon $40
tripod $20

Canon Eos Elan IIe $50 with a 28-90 lens
Minolta Q2 si $30 with lens

Canon 50 mm f1.8 II $80
Canon 28-90mm f4-5.6 III $60
Quantaray 28-90mm f3.5-5.6
Canon 75-300 mm f4-5.6 III <-- lens has spots on the front lens Can't seem to find price for these... Keep seeing ~$300/ea, but that seems high
Canon 75-300 mm f4-5.6 II
Kalimar filters 58mm (2 uv, fld, pl)

Canon 430EXII w/case $200
Digital Photography 528AF/CAN speedlite $30
LumoPro light stand, umbrella, reflectosol (silver, opaque white, solid white, and gold) w/storage bag $200 as a kit

Lowepro Slingshot 200 case $50
Quantaray SLR bag $20
Hard case with slot torn out for SLR body+lens (unk manufacturer) $40

Total $2045
Everything together for $1800+shipping a fair price?

This seem like the right starting price for it all? I plan to kit some stuff together to group it into 4-5 different "groups" instead of parting out each individual thing.
