Need help figuring out a selling price for my computer please gents

Hello,

I am selling my current computer because i am getting a new laptop. i am selling it to my good buddy who got his laptop stolen and i dont want to feel like i ripped him off. what would be a good price to give him for my computer?

my apologies, i didnt know about that rule, person in charge please delete this thread if you want. i was thinking right around 1,000 or so myself, so i guess im a pretty good buddy :)
