2940u scsi card, does it shows it's own bios when boots up, scan for the installed drives.
i already have 29160 scsi set up with 1 hd, 1 cdrw only, but when computer first boot up, the 29160 bois will take a while to scan for all the drives installed, and that is like 15 devices, but i got only 2 installed. anyway to disable all those scan to save the boot up time.
or i have to look for something that does not have it's own bios.

Yeah...my 2940 takes a while to boot also...It identifies all devices on the chain ...3HD's and a CD drive.
It doesnt appear to be searching each scsi ID but it does locate the devices in order ny their scsi ID...
