well i got a wirelesss keyboard and optical mouse from a friend, the mouse works great but the keyboard isn't responding. I have tried it on 2 different computers 2000, XP....and get simular results. the keys are not responding correctly....so i think it is the keyboard since the mouse works just fine.

question is he got it from best buy but doens't have a reciept...and doesn't know how long ago it has been that he got it....so i don't think i can go there and try to get a replacement part..

so i am curious if you guys think it is worth trying to get intouch with microsoft and seeing if i can RMA the keyboard back to them and also the reciever ???

i tried to look around windows site today for about 45 minutes and i couldn't for the life of me find a link to a product problem page or an e-mail address that was suitable to write to in regards to this situation..

it is a pretty nice keyboard so would like to at least try...if you have had any simular experences i would love some advice

thanks in advance
