Need help determining if this ram will work on my system.

Recently purchased 2 1 gig sticks of Kingston registered ECC DDR400 ram for my system. Data Sheet here. Currently using K8N Neo2 Platium motherboard with a AMD 64bit 3500+. Motherboard information here. Currently when I try the ram I get a error beep telling me I have a Dram refresh problem.. I'v tried the configurations listed in the users manual. I'v tried just one stick to see if I could get it to post with no luck. I'v tried manually setting the voltage and timings as stated in the manual and on the MSI website to what was listed for my ram. Now its got me wondering if this ram will work at all for my system. If anyone has any information, maybe I misread the specs before I purchased or something else I missed, any help would be appreciated. Currently using the latested bios from MSI. Thanks in advance.

Why did you buy ECC? Does the mb support it? Is ECC enabled in the bios?

Go to www.crucial.com. They will tell you what RAM will work in your system, and guarantee it will work.

Registered memory is for server/workstation boards, so my guess will be no, it won't work.
