Need help determining if I have a bad Motherboard

I built a computer for a friend about 2 years ago and used a MSI K7Pro motherboard.
Well the thing quit booting on him and I think I have it narrowed down to the board
but before I buy another I would like confirmation. On boot I get RED/GREEN/RED/RED
on the LED. The cheat sheet shows this to be Memory detection test. I have tried several
other sticks of NEW Crucial memory and get the same thing. I am thinking the traces to the
dimm slots are gone because I have tried them all and get the same. Any advice or
help would be appreciated.

Thanks

try clearing the bios / replacing the bios battery.

did you check the memory in another system? and you are sure that the replacement crucial memory was the same type/and was good?

he didn't just change video cards did he?

how about the cpu fan...still spinning?

otherwise it sounds broke :-(

Thanks for the reply. I cleared the bios but did not replace the battery.
The memory I tried is all New, never opened Crucial. Nothing was changed or added to the system, it just quit booting. I swapped the HD over to my
computer and booted to a A:\ prompt with a boot disk which it would not
do in his. I have tried another video card and CPU, still the same thing. I ordered another motherboard and will find out soon. If it's not the MB I have a good excuse to own another one :).

Thanks
