Need help decidng which ram would be faster??

Okay, got some Corsair PC3200LLPT that will do 2-2-2-6 at 250FSB using a 5:4, ie at 400 DDR.. Would replacing this some PC4000 running 250 FSB at 1:1 w/3-4-4-8 be faster or not??

Honestly that's a close call. I would think the 1:1 ratio would be the fastest; however, I am thinking there would be little real world difference. So if you are doing that for an upgrade only do it if the price doesn't bother you. As far as price to performance goes, I don't think you would be getting much of an upgrade for your money. However, I could be wrong.

Not worth it all. Stick with the 5:4 divider.
