I own a Radeon 64vivo myself and I love this thing. The picture quality is excellent and putting my monitor next to my friend's geforce 2 gts I think mine looks a bitchload prettier with only a little less fps at times. If you are not going to get a geforce 3 right now my recommendation is the radeon... plus if you use the vivo just once you've already utilized something you couldnt have ever done with a geforce card!

Another vote for the RADEON

I was also in such a predicament whereas to get a GeForce 2 Pro or a RADEON 64 Mb ViVo...I finally decided for the RADEON because:

1) the $140 bucks GeForce 2 pro doesn't have TV-OUT (much less Video In)
2) ATI is working much better on their driver updates (you can get new Official beta drivers form ATI every 2 to 3 weeks), and leaked betas every 5 days at www.ammoburners.com
3) Image quality is MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better than any nVidia card out there (Gotta love playing games at 4x FSAA an 32-bit color mode on the RADEON)
4) I use my PC to watch DVD, and ATI has the best Hardware asisted DVD decoding available
5) If you think you can tell from running a game at 89FPS on a RADEON from 93 FPS on a GeForce2, you'd better see a shrink!!! (The human eye can't tell apart anything higher than 60 FPS)
6) The RADEON beats almost every GeForce 2 card on 32-bit color mode (maybe except the Ultra)

need more reasons?? I can't come up with anything else at the time being... If I figure up some more, I'll let you know 🙂
