I'll be modifying my case in a couple of weeks. Need help deciding where to place case fans. So far, i have decided to put one 80mm fan in the front for intake, 1 80mm in the back for exhaust, 2 x 40mm hd cooler and maybe one 92mm on the top of the case.
Should i have any case fan on the side?
Is this a good setup??

I'll be using probably L1A panaflo or adda fans.
I was thinking of purchasing a fan baybus, but the fans i'm getting are pretty quiet already so not sure if i needed one.

thx for all that reply

Your plan is good but as long as you're cutting for the top blowhole you should go ahead and do the side as well.

I have a similar setup in an Enlight 7327. I used an 80mm exhaust fan in the top blowhole and an 80mm intake fan in a blowhole on the side of the case. I also have 80mm intake (lower front) and exhaust (upper rear) fans.

ditto. i doubt you'll need the baybus, but there's one sure way to find out. run it with all the fans going, and if the noise pisses you off, buy one. :)

I did more or less what you did to this case, except I used 90 mm. fans instead of 80's and a 120 for the "blowhole,' It's pretty noisy, but, like living near an airport, you get used to it. :)

P.S.
It was a big job: planning and marking, stripping the case, cutting & drilling, finally putting it all back together and fastening and connecting everything.
