Hi all,
I am in the process of building 3 computers. What combination of components will produce the best systems. I really do not know the difference in the biostar and the Asus motherboards.
No heavy gaming. Just basic stuff.
Motherboards:
Asus A7N8X
Asus A7N8X-VM/400 rev 2 (onboard gf 4)
Biostar M7NCG400 (onboard gf 40)
2500 barton retail
2500 barton retail
2000 XP retail
160 Gig Seagate 7200 8 cache
80 Gig Maxtor 7200 8 cache (new)
80 Gig Maxtor 7200 8 cache (1 year old)
Ram; (Have Kingston Value Ram (3-3-4) 2 sticks of 512 DDR 400
Kingston Value ram 256 DDR 400 ch-5 winbond chips (2.5)
Will buy what ever is appropriate to finish off the 3 computers
1 ATI 9600se (obviously going in the A7N8X)
2 Antec 350w power supplies with Antec cases
1 Generic Case with 350 watt power supply
Optical Drives will be installed depending on the quality of any individual computer
I guess that is it. If this is a ridiculous post I am sorry.
Thanks in advance, Leigh
