Hey all... I need some help deciding on what I should buy to complete my new computer. So far I have:
------------------------------------------
-Lian Li v1100B Plus
-EVGA 7800 GTX
-2 GB OCZ 2-3-2 PC3200 DDR RAM
-NEC 3540A DVD+-R/RW
-Lite-On 52x32x52 CDRW
------------------------------------------
Now... I need to decide on whether I should go single or dual core. I'll be doing light multitasking, and I won't be upgrading for probably 2-3 years. I also need to decide which motherboard to get. The MSI Neo4 Platinum looks like the one I want, as I don't really plan on doing heavy overclocking and the onboard sound is a plus. Next is storage. I want to get a Raptor, but don't really know if I want to spend $300 on storage (Raptor + 250 gig). Maybe I'll get the raptor now and add a second hard drive after I make some money. Finally are powersupplies. I want to go with a Seasonic S12 600W, but it's kind of pricey. I dunno if going with the 500W version would be "skimping", so insight here would be helpful. Any suggestions you all make are appreciated! :)

spend $150 more and opt for a 4400+? And will the TPII fit in the V1100B?

yeah, of course if you can afford it get the 4400. otherwise kensai's suggestions are good. dont get a raptor, its a waste.

I like the Raptors. If it's in your budget, I'd get one.
There are alot of Raptor "haters" out there, but there are just as many satisfied owners.
I like the 500W Fortron Blue. Pnly about $90 and the cables come already sleeved (big plus for me).
MSI Neo4 is a good choice.
IMO the X2's are a little overpriced for me. I'd rather save $100 and go with a SD 3700+.
You obviously won't have near the multi-tasking speed, but your gaming will be better.
