Need help deciding on a Geforce 6800 brand to buy.

Hi,
I've got $324.13 (exactly) and I'm going to buy a geforce 6800 regular. I need help deciding on which brand to get. Mainly, I want the one that will run the coolest (I dont care about noise).

I can go up to the $285 eVGA. I'm thinking about going with the Leadtek, mainly cause it's only $270 and has 5 stars from voters, and runs pretty cool.

Which one do you all think I should go with?

eVGA, Leadtek, and BFG seem to be the most recommended brands. You'll have to dig up tests to find temperature differences, but I doubt that any differences you find will be significant enough to be worth mentioning. Just get the cheapest one of those three, and put an NV Silencer or other aftermarket unit on there if you need something more effective.

The XFX version has Dual DVI if that interests you 🙂

I would recommend an aftermarket heatsink though, like the NV5 🙂

Based on features alone though. I've never had an actual XFX card myself 🙂

Dual DVI really doesnt intrest me, mainly cause I'm still a CRT user. I'm going to go with Leadtek.

Can you unlock the pipes without any hardware mods, just using rivatuner?

I chose the BFG when I got my 6800 Ultra, because its clocked 25mhz faster by default and they are a US company.

I'd really like to go with BFG cause of the lifetime warranty, but the leadtek has to do.
