Need help deciding between sony/mitsubishi 21/22" monitor

I recently bought a Sony CPD-E540 21" which I was not happy with because the colors were not vibrant enough.

Now I'm considering a Sony 21 " CPD-G520P or an NEC/Mitsubishi 22" FE2111SB

I was also considering an Nes/Mits FE2060 which had a good review, but newegg doesn't carry those.

Anybody have any opinions on these or other models?

I'm trying to keep the cost to below $600
 
I am interested in this as well. The 2060 series was discontinued and replaced by the 2070 series. The G520 and G520P are the same monitor, just different color casing. Anyone actually own teh 2070?
 
I have the NEC FP2141SB-BK, which is identical to the Mitsubishi 2070SB-BK in every way (except the paint on the bezel). Works great for me, but I had a lot of problems with my first two 🙂 (I got early models). Honestly guys, just get whichever monitor has the bezel color you want, I don't think you can go wrong with anything you've mentioned.

Yea, thx. I'm just a bit leary about this next purchase. This new Sony CPD-E540 looked so much worse than the old 19" Sony HMD-440A that my son uses.

RMA'ing a big monitor is a pita.
 
Yeah RMAing those things was a bitch.

Also, the 540 series Sony is not in the same class as the 520. The 540 is a cheaper solution to the 520, like the NEC FE2111SB-BK is to the FP2141SB-BK.
 
So the FP2141SB is better than the FP2111SB?

Newegg doesnn't carry the FP2141SB, who does and is reputable?

Dell carries it from time to time for a pretty good price.
 
Slogun, I have an NEC FE2111SB and I love it! I got it on ebay for $460.00 shipped (brand new even). Do your shopping homework! Mine paid off.

I hadn't thought Sony would let me down like this...🙁

I see a new one on eBay right now for $500 shipped, it's black though...
If you could let me know the ebay usename of your seller, maybe i could buy from them.

Are the colors on that monitor nice and bright?
