i noticed today the oblivion specs were released and i want to match what the suggested specs are. at the moment i am using:
MSI 6600GT PCIE
1gb OCZ GoldVX dual channel kit (running in single channel, having issues but i doubt anyone could help with that)
a64 3200+
my question is ive been hearing good things about the 6800GS card. i dont have the money for the 6800GT. im curious if its a worthwhile upgrade. i know my 6600gt sucks as its only 128mb ram and 128bit vs the 6800gs has 256mb and 256bit. i know there is more to it in the memory specs etc, so here is the card i have VS the card i want. Keep in mind i find my card is almost useless. turning on most things in fear makes it drop to 20-24 fps. HL2 is stays around 48 but i get weird stutter freuqently. WoW it pulls between 20-50FPS.
