its an hr22/100 everything says ok but still wont connect.

I have my main ASUS TM-AC1900 router sending to another Asus N56U set in ap-client mode with custom firmware

Everything else plugged into the client router works fine. The DTV doesnt.

Ill provide answers for questions as they come.

Why don't you hardwire an private ip address, dns, gateway into the hr22/100 and let it spit out packets to your N56U -> AC1900 -> internet?

I used to be a Team Lead for DTV Case Management so I think we can get you taken care of, here. DTV network connections are finicky. Are you on a SWM system with 1 Coax or do you have 2 Coax cables coming into the receiver at Sat-1 and Sat-2? If you are on the SWM system, do you have a DECA adapter installed at the back of the HR22? Are you just connecting the HR22 via Cat5e to the N56U?

Press and hold the 'info' button on your DTV remote for about 5 seconds and the More Info screen will pop up. What is the IP address there? If it is 169.254.x.x then it is not connecting at all. If it is something else, let us know what that is.
