need help configuring warftp v1.70

i need help configuring warftp v1.70 . or recomendations on a more user friendly (free) ftp server program. i am behind a LAN and i was able to get all those port forwarding problems fixed. now i need help configuring the software so that other people can access. a friend just tried and wasnt getting any luck. what am i doing wrong? or what do i need to ensure that people only have access to what i want them to have access to.....to tell you the truth i really have no idea at this point what i am doing at all what so ever. HELP! thanks in advance

dont need help anymore switched to G6 and my ftp server is up and running
