need help configuring dual boot with ubuntu

I'm not sure how to get it working... I've already finished installing ubuntu on a 10gb partition of a 200gb hard drive I installed yesterday. Windows is installed on a RAID-0 of two 80gb hitachi sata iis. My problem lies in the fact that I think that GRUB wasn't able to detect my windows installation? Whenever i reboot it automatically loads into windows and doesn't "see" ubuntu. I went back into the ubuntu installation cd and it said that GRUB detects ubuntu as the only operating system.

I know that what i just wrote might not make sense, but i'll try to explain it more clearly if you need me to. Any help would be appreciated.

i changed the boot priority order in my bios and put the new hard drive first, and GRUB loads, but windows isn't one of the boot options

Add it to the grub config file. I don't know grub, I've never used it, but I've found out what to add through google pretty quickly in the past.

yeah, i gave up anyway, ubuntu wouldn't even launch properly the first time, i kept getting a loading shared libraries error when trying to boot
