Hye guys, I need some serious help. I just bought a new CPU and mobo, the DFI LanParty UT S754 and a 3000+, i put it together and my computer won't even turn on. No light on the mobo are on either. Please help.

Try taking off the power cable and putting it back again.See if it fits snugly . This sounds silly, but it has happened with me in the past where I was cursing myself for not wearing a wrist-strap when assembling(thinking that the static screwed my components) and then realising that the stupid connector didn't fit snugly.
If not then you have a defective power-supply. oh, btw which PSU?

ye, i just tried it, still no good. Its wierd cus this PSU was just working with my old Athlon XP setup. Also, none of my LEDs are turning on. I have this EZ-Switch thing on the mobo, so even if I connected the wires wrong, it should turn on with those swtiches but it doesn't.

Is your mobo mounted properly with a padding at the back? Try taking off your motherboard, put it on a anti-static bag and try starting it
