I don't believe this is a repost. The other post was related to finding 350W (or better) psus without on/off switches. In the process, I found some online citations that a standard ATX psu could not be used in Dells after 1998 (which would include the GX240). The board would get fried according to the articles I found.
This know-it-all at the Dell forums keeps saying that the articles I found are all wrong but isn't really backing up his position with anything that I feel comfortable with.
So what i'de like to do is compare the wirings between the standard ATX psu and the original (or OEM replacement) Dell psu.
