I am currently looking at a few different modules....
I am interested in overclocking with my mobo (for my A8N32-SLI)- as I decided this would be an awesome 939 board to do so with. Because of the recent AMD price cuts, and Neweggs seeming inability to drop the prices right away, I'm holding off on getting my ram and CPU for about a week (hoping they drop prices during a 'weekend sale').
Heres my setup so far....

(My original intention was to make a solid 939 for about $800, but its looking like 800-950 or so...)

Antec Sonata II case w/ air duct
A8N32-SLI socket 939 AMD Board (nvidia sli, not crossfire xpress, or w/ the ati version is...)
XFX 6800XT 256bit 256MB graphics card (not running sli, because not enough $$$)
Dual tv-tuners, am gonna be running windows xp MCE 2005 (oem version already bought)
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
One 40gb maxtor IDE ATA100 drive for the pagefile
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI
And I have some arctic silver 5 on hand for when I order my cpu

For my processor I was originally looking at the 3700+ for the 1mb cache...
but with current prices, if I'm going single core, I'm looking at the 3500+ (venice core)
and for dual core, the 3800+ X2 or the 4200+ X2

I play games, and will most likely play a lot more after I get the system setup (I currently only play CSCZ)

ANYWAY- TO THE POINT....
I've never overclocked a system before, so I need help desperately in choosing good ram. I'm looking at ddr400 ram from either crucial or OCZ...
Here are the links for what i'm looking at...
The Crucial I'm looking at
The OCZ Gold
The OCZ Platinum

*another goal is to keep the price of the ra under $100 for 1 gig....*
I want something thats fast both in terms of speed and latency. Also something that can keep up with my CPU and MOBO for overclocking (whether I set it to auto, or tweak it manually). I read an anandtech article containing the different RAM I'm looking at, and the Crucial Ballistix held its speeds better when overclocked. I'm just concerned that its less expensive than the OCZ, and usually it seems you get what you pay for.

I want to push my ram as far as it can go before changing the dividers..... I know the OCZ I'm looking at has an extended voltage clause in the warranty (I'm not looking to void any warranties while OC'ing). and the crucial is only ok if I got to 3.0v (called and asked, its 2.8 and they said a .2 difference would still be covered)

SO...
without voiding my warranties, what is the best ram for the buck that is fast, low latency, and overclocks well?
thanks much for any input and advice...
