Need help choosing parts

I've been wanting to do a light upgrade on my system for awhile now...

I use my general PC for gaming mostly, and I would like to build a file server with the spare parts that I have left over after the upgrade. Price is not much of an issue, but I don't need much more power than what I currently have. I was originally gonna go with a DFI-Lanparty Expert + Opteron 148 combo...
