Need help choosing motherboard

I'm building an Intel system. I'm new to Intel so I need help choosing a motherboard. Mostly for high end gaming and music. I don't think I need the 800 FSB since I don't see a huge differance in benchmarks to justify the extra $.
Don't say that my system is good enough, it's going to my son.
Thank's

You might watch for the i865 boards, looks like they'll be near the $100 mark while providing the bandwidth that the P4 was made for. Newegg already has an MSI, more should be forthcoming.

Definately go for the 865p for value and performance. It's possible that some p4 400 and 533 cpus will overclock higher with this chipset, if you're interested. Newegg has the msi 865 neo for about $125. Several versions may be available with various options.
