Taking my first stab at an Intel rig and I'm a bit confused in choosing the right motherboard for this build.
First, here are some of the other bits:
- e6750 (waiting for July 22 release)
- 2 or 4gb of some DDR2 800, probably something from OCZ
- for now 7900GS, might consider better card or SLi setup
As far as uses:
- primarily gaming, don't need for bleeding edge but decent performance for latest games
- all around home/business pc
- good amount of photoshop work
- DVD encoding
- web surfing
- some futureproofing
- I'm also thinking about doing a mild overclock. Haven't done one in the past, but wouldn't mind trying it.
So, I'm trying to decide first which of the two chipsets fits my needs better (p35 or 650/680i) and after that narrowing it down to specific models.
So any suggestions??
