Ok guys here are the choices. (keep in mind I'm looking for the best ocing memory for the best price)
1GB (512x2) Crucial Ballistix PC-4000 for $130
1GB (512x2) Geil Ultra Platinum PC-4000 for $110
1GB (512x2) G.Skill PC-3200 DC Kit for $99
1GB (1GBx1) G.Skill PC-4000 for $120
I know the pc-3200 ballistix kits are pretty sweet but I'm not sure how the pc-4000 compare.
From what I've read the geil does well at stock speeds but none of the reviewers had good enough motherboards to get higher than 250fsb.
And I've heard the g.skill stories but I'm still a little unsure at this point so of course I'm asking for help from you guys. What are your opinions?
Oh yeah I have another question also. Do the higher timings of 1gb modules greatly affect performance over the 512mb ones?
