Need help choosing LGA775 SLI mobo

I'll be getting a second 8800GT 512 soon so it's goodbye to my IP-35E.
I need a good, STABLE, SLI mobo to replace it with.
Currently running a C2D E4400 @ 3.0gHz, but am going to upgrade to a E8500 in a couple months. Also currently running DDR2.

Are you sure spending an extra ~$120 for a second card + $125-200 on a SLI mobo is what you want to do vs a single better card?

Yup, i want to jettison the IP-35E anyway, it O/Cs well, but never was very stable.

Relatively speaking in respect to the Intel chipsets.

hmm, I currently have the evga 780i SLI ftw board, and it is stable enough with my q6600 OC @ 3.3 ghz. It from what I hear, nvidia chipsets have less issues with dualies. Alternatively, you could get the 750i ftw, which is also supposed to be popular, and pretty good too. It really depends on how far you need to OC though.

Alternatively, you could get a gtx 260 or 280 and sell your 8800. If you must do SLI, the evga 7xxi ftw series are pretty much your options, and they are pretty good IMO, and should get better with Bios updates.
