Need help choosing between two motherboards

Need to know which is better. There are a lot of topics already about these, but too many for me to sort out. I want a SLI motherboard with two PCI-E x16 slots and three PCI slots. These are the two I came down to.

ASUS SLI Motherboard
MSI SLI Motherboard

I'm trying to be cheap but still get something great, but to me there appears to be little difference between these two boards. Just want to know which you recommend.

the msi sli board does some weird thing with SLI . . . instead of x8/x8, i think it does x16/x2
