My Haans-G I bought in 2007 is still running strong but I just dont think its cutting it anymore. Requirements:

  • My #1 use will be FPS gaming. Crysis 3 mainly right now but will be playing some others in the future
  • I dont like big monitors, 19-23" preferably. This helps with my next requirement: price.
  • Would like to spend ~$150 max (unless it is undoubtedly worth it to spend more, I dont mind paying a little extra for something I will use for a long time)
  • Reliability. Would absolutely love it if my next monitor purchase lasted as long as this one has.

I dont know much about monitors at all so any suggestions are welcome.

Sorry, but I really feel you have to spend more than that.

The Asus VG248QE at a minimum... $263. It's a TN panel, very fast, but washed out colors.

I may soon be getting the BenQ XL2420TE... $399. I currently have an IPS panel high-quality Dell U2410, but it's a bit slow in FPS gaming. Within the next 3-4 months I may get the nVidia EVGA Classified GTX 770.... can't play golf this Summer if I want that video card...lol.

I'm a Battlefield 3 addict, and also play Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances.
