Hi all... im planning on building a new p4 sys. im thinking about getting a 478 pin 2.0ghz but im not sure about the mobo. i dont need onboard sound, vid, or nic. wat im interested is mobo that is most stable (even when oc'd) and has best performance for asus or visiontek gf4 vid cards. i prefer price range under $120. also i have 512mb of pc2100 and 512 of rambus. r there any mobo that support both? also can plz explain pro's and con's of diff chipsets on mobos? thanks!!!

Albatron px845 pev pro (Intel 845pe chipset, supports hyperthreading, and pc2700) or gigabyte 8sg667 (sis 648, no hyperthreading support but agp 8x and runs ddram at 400 speed). The gigabyte board has a new version 2 out, with voltage adjustments, but may be hard to find. Both boards are budget minded, and don't have the serial ata ports. A more expensive version of the albatron (the pro II) has the serial ata port, if you intend to get a serial ata hardrive when they come out.
