Need help choosing a mobo for my system!

Hey, new builder here and having big trouble choosing a motherboard that will be the best to overclock, that is relatively quiet, and not too much trouble to set up. I don't have a set budget but don't want to spend over 250 on the mother board.

I plan on getting/have:
E6600
2gb PQI DDR2-5400
8800GTX
Seagate 400 GB @ 7200 RPMS
Corsair HX620W
all in a P180B case

I've been looking alot at the eVGA 680i board and the ASUS P5W DH, but can't decide. I really like the fact that the 680i board seems to be very easy to configure, but after reading how loud the optional fan is, I really don't want something so loud. Also the, I don't think i'm good enough to redo the thermal paste which seemed to be a problem. The ASUS P5W DH seems like a very good board, but I plan on getting Vista and the problems with the wireless on the board (which seems to make the board worth it) doesn't work right.

Anyway, anything about what a good mobo to get would be great since this is the first time ...

Thanks

Are you overclocking?

If so, the 680i is a difficult 1st board to learn since there are 10000 voltage tweaks required to make the board operational...

if running stock, then either board will do.

the nice thing about the evga 680i is the ability to upgrade to another 8800gtx in the future and run them in SLi while that will not be possible with the asus board.
