Need help choosing a laptop ... which cpu?

My choices are:

Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.50GHz 800FSB 6MB L2 Cache 64-bit (Extra $210)

Core 2 Duo T8300 @ 2.40GHz 800FSB 3MB L2 Cache 64-bit (Extra $136)

Core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.10GHz 800FSB 3MB L2 Cache 64-bit (Extra $96)

... I want this laptop to tide me over SWG, WoW and AoC, but I'd rather save a little since I'll be a dad in Sep.


The gpu is a 8600GT 512mb

any recommendations?

The best bargain seems to be the 2.4 GHz upgrade. I think for gaming, you will be limited more by your video card than by your processor.

I'd save the $120 and go with the 8100, and spend the extra on the vid card.
