Hi,

First of all thx for taking the time to read and help me.

So i got a 2000$ budget from my school to buy a laptop and some software so that leave me with a 1500$ for the laptop only. My goal is to run BF3 smoothly with decent graphic. (For those who played beta the graphic that we have in beta are wath i'm expecting to get). So far the best laptop i found is http://www.gentechpc.com/showpages.asp?pid=1071 cause i need a 15.6 inch so i can bring it to school without too much trouble and i think it could run BF3 nicelly.

I would like to know how much fps you think i could get and what setting when in a jet where i see most of the map for exemple.

And if you know a better laptop deal that respect my 1500$ budget fell free to suggest :)

thx in advance

alienware m14x?
it's 14", gets awesome battery life, has a good GPU, and has spiffy backlit keyboard
i find it slightly funny how they have 2 headphone jacks :p, i guess for when you want to share music with a friend in the library or something
the look, but more importantly the feel and build quality (especially of the plastics used) of alienware notebooks i think is a bit better than most of the other gaming notebooks (especially in the price range)

do you plan on gaming while out and about? or just while you're at "home"?
if you're just gaming at home i'd recommend building a pc (maybe a compact one) and getting a generic AMD e-350 or intel sandybridge (core i3 or i5) 10-12" netbook for when you're out and about

otherwise the m14x is a nicely balanced gaming notebook
