Need help choosing a dog

I was at the local animal shelter this afternoon and found a few dogs I'm interested in. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to adopt one. I'm hoping that whatever I choose won't exceed 30-35lbs (my apartment's weight limit) and will be able to run mid distances with me (anywhere from 2-10 miles, mostly trails). Of course, I plan on working the dog gradually into the longer distances. I've never taken a dog for a longer run, so I'm not sure if my expectations are unreasonable. Below are the list of dogs that I'm going to chose from:

A 6-8mo Terrier mix: I couldn't tell what kind of terrier it is. It resembles a Staffordshire Bull Terrier the most though. However, it isn't quite as stocky and has a long haired coat.

A 9mo old pointer mix. I think this would probably be the easiest of the three to run with, but it is probably right around 35lbs now and I have no idea how much longer it will continue to grow. Does anyone know when pointers typically reach their adult size?

A 2-4yr old Shepherd mix. I have no idea what type of Shepherd this dog is. It probably weighs close to 30lbs, not real tall, and has a very soft coat.

Not officially a pit bull but it is what most people would define as one. If it bit someone, it would be called a pit bull by the media, thats for sure.

I'm pretty sure the pointer will exceed 35lbs. Heres what I found on the pointers size.
Dog: 25 - 28 in. (64 - 71 cm).
Weight: 55 - 75 lb. (25 - 34 kg).
Bitch: 23 - 26 in. (58 - 66 cm).
Weight: 45 - 65 lb. (20.5 - 30 kg).

Also don't be in such a rush. Are there any other shelters you can choose from, or maybe theres rescues. Get exactly what you want, don't just settle for a dog because there isn't another choice.
