I'm looking for a good high end cooler for my new build and I'm trying to decide between a few different ones. What I'm looking at so far is:

Thermalright Venomous X
Prolimatech Megahalems rev.b
Cooler Master V6 GT
Thermaltake Frio
Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme

From what I've read, the Venomous X and Megahalems are 2 of the best next to the Noctua DH-14 (out of my price range, and too big). I love the looks of the Tuniq but it's older and I don't know if any of the others listed are better. I can get the Cooler Master V6 GT locally which is very convinient, but I've heard that it doesn't mount very tight and wiggles around which makes me nervous.

The motherboard I'm using is the Asus P8Z68-V Pro and will most likely purchase Mushkin Blackline RAM which is low profile so hopefully there shouldn't be any clearance issues.

ANYWAYS, that's what I'm looking at so far and I'm definitely open to other suggestions so any advice is welcome. Thank you for your time.

I am not sure of the cost on those items listed...I am assuming around 40-50 and maybe you get the fan...

The one thing that I didn't like about a lot of coolers like these ones is the tremendous torque the weight of these huge bastages place on the boards. Plus do your research because many dont fit in cases....now with these P67, and Z68 motherboards there are lots of talk of high profile heatsinks on Ram making issues with some of these coolers.

I went with a corsair water cooler and i am extremely happy. Granted it was more expensive then all of those, but right now it is whisper quiet to what it was with my old air cooler....and doing a phenomenal job...
