i'm buidling a new rig for an amd 64 (still debating on 754 or 939). but for the case I have decided to go with either...

antec p-160wf

or

thermaltake va3000

if any of you have any experience with either, please help me out. which one is better... functionality, noise level, and look?

thanks!!!

I prefer the looks of the Thermaltake Tsunami but it has the disadvantages of having a door and having no drive rails for the HDs. Both cases come with 120mm fans, so they are both good for a quiet or cool OC system. Just go with the one whose looks you prefer.
As for the 939 vs. 754 debate 754 all the way!
Take a look here: http://www.hardtecs4u.com/?id=1097147320,32071,ht4u.php for the upcoming CPU price changes on October 15th. Note how the S754 3400+ and the S939 3800+ Newcastle version are both clocked at 2.4GHz with 512 KB cache. Also note the price difference of $643 for the 3800+ and only $238 for the 3400+. The performance of these is almost identical in most applications as the dual channel is not very important for the A64 (because of the on-die memory controller).

thanks Nickel020 for the good advises and the link  i'll definitely wait till after oct 15 to buy 🙂
