I am in the market for buying a 19 inch monitor. These are the ones that I have narrowed down to:
Sony G-400
Samsung 900NF
IIyama vision master 451 pro
LG Electronics Flatron 915FT plus
Eizo nano flexscan T761

Which do you guys think I should buy? And why.

if you feel like splurging i'd definitely go for the G400, i hear LG Electronics makes some sick monitors but i've never personally seen one. i saw the samsung and wasn't that wow'ed by it, and i've never heard of eizo. have you thought about the Viewsonic PF795 or KDS AV-195TF at all?

I'd go with the Sony if you have the money. But the Samsung is definitely a contender. Of course I'm biased to Hitachi's and Samsungs, have had great experiences with them. If price is any issue at all, go with the Samsung 955df. Best value I've seen so far...

It's a no brainer, Samsung 900NF. You can't beat the price/performance ratio. :)

Well I heard from zdnet that EIZO makes great monitors for graphics design and CAD work. They are a little pricey though. Any other opinions would be great.

Another vote for the Samsung, though out of that list I've only seen the G400 and the 900NF in person. The G400 is a damn good monitor, but the 900NF beats it in almost every category including price. I've had good experiences with Iiyama and Viewsonic in the past, but their prices always seem to be going up.

Another vote for the Samsung 900NF. Sony makes great monitors but I think they are too much (in price). Iiyama... hmm comparably to the 900NF I'd say. Haven't heard much about the LG and Eizo though they are suppose to be good.
