need help building micro ATX p4 rig

I'm looking at getting a P4 rig, but in micro form, for my next system.

I just sold my AMD setup, so I want to try something new. I want a pentium, and I also want a minitower (they're so cute). Anyways, this is my first time looking around at intel boards and couple that with the mATX size, I'm pretty much lost as to which to buy. Basically what I'm looking for in an Intel setup is a system that is comparable to an AMD xp1600 with 256mb ddr.

Will having an oc'd 1.6a get me comparable speeds (and gaming) to the above mentioned setup?
Should I go rambus or ddr for this rig?
What is the best chipset out there right now?
And what is the best available to the mATX versions?

That's all the questions I have for now. Thanks in advance for your time.

If you're gonna go small, you might as well go "really small." Check out the front page of Anandtech and read the article about the Shuttle mini PC. I would love to have that for LAN parties. If you don't want something that small, then I like the SIS 648 and Intel i850e chipsets. Look for something made by Asus, Abit, MSI, or Gigabyte.

The shuttle ones are cool, but they're too small. I need an AGP slot for a potential geforce4.

I think I'm going with the Asus P4S333-M as people have suggested in the Motherboards forum. I am still curious if this setup will be better than the proposed amd one.

xp1600 vs p41.6 @~2.1 -both with 256mb ddr

I've only read briefly about how p4 use rdram better than ddr. Quick thoughts please?
