I get error msg of missing or corrupt file
c:\windows\system32\config\system
the actual file is "system"
it said to use XP cd and try repair, well i tried that it doesn't do anything just kicks me out of the last menu
i just now installed XP on another partition. hoping to copy and paste new file into the original partition's directory.
well new Xp directory won't let me copy it.
i have tried do'n Safe mode COMMand prompt and safe mode boot up before reinstalling but of no use
